Born in Malatya in 1978, Murat Topdağ completed his high school education in Istanbul and then finished his medical education in the English department of Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He started his specialist training in the field of Ear, Nose, and Throat at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine in 2004 and received the title of specialist in 2009. He continued his academic career at the same university and served as a research assistant and faculty member until 2017. After specialization, he worked for a period at Kocaeli Karamürsel State Hospital. In 2017, he joined the staff of Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital with the title of professor and continued his duty there until 2022. Since 2022, he has been continuing his work at his own clinic, MD ENT ISTANBUL, which he founded on Bağdat Street in Istanbul. His professional areas of interest include rhinoplasty and facial aesthetic surgeries.

Prof. Dr. Asım Kaytaz

Asım Kaytaz completed his high school education at Robert College in 1975 and received the title of medical doctor from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1981. He completed his specialist training in Ear, Nose, and Throat Diseases at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1985. Continuing his professional development internationally, he was a “Visiting Fellow” on “Laser Applications and Endoscopic Sinus Surgery” at St. Luke’s – Roosevelt Hospital Center affiliated with Columbia University in the USA in 1995-1996. In 1996, he received training in “Otology and Sinus Surgery” at the Georgia International Otologic Training Center. After serving as a Board Member and General Secretary (1994-2000) in the Turkish Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery Association, he served as the President of the Association between 2002 and 2006. He has been continuing his work within Acıbadem Health Group since 2001.

Prof. Dr. Çetin Vural

Born in Konya in 1960, Çetin Vural graduated from Ankara Science High School in 1977 and completed his medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1984. He completed his Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist training at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital in 1990. In his academic career, he received the title of Associate Professor in 2003 and Professor in 2012. Between 1986 and 2011, he served as a specialist, chief assistant, and deputy chief at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital. Internationally, he received training in head and neck surgery and ear surgery in Indianapolis and Pittsburgh in the USA, and in thyroid surgery in Pisa, Italy, and Halle, Germany. Between 2012 and 2017, he served as the Head of the ENT Department at Maltepe University Faculty of Medicine. He is currently continuing his work at Acıbadem Kadıköy Hospital. His main areas of interest are head and neck cancers, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and salivary gland tumors.

Prof. Dr. Nazım Korkut

Nazım Korkut completed his medical education at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1981 and received his Ear, Nose, and Throat specialization from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1988. At the same faculty, he received the title of Associate Professor in 1993 and Professor in 1999. He is a founding member of many professional organizations such as the Facial Plastic Surgery Association and the European Association of Otology and Neurootology. Yusufhan Süoğlu graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1991 and completed his specialist training in 1995 in the Ear, Nose, and Throat Department of the same faculty. He is one of the founding members of the Facial Plastic Surgery Association and undertook duties such as general secretary and board membership. Prof. Dr. Levent Erişen

Levent Erişen completed his medical education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1983 and finished his Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist training at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 1990. He continued his academic career within Uludağ University, becoming Assistant Professor in 1991, Associate Professor in 1995, and Professor in 2001. In the post-specialization period, he gained international experience. In 1988, he was at Royal Ear Hospital in England. Prof. Dr. Erkan Tarhan

Erkan Tarhan graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1995 and completed his specialist training in 1999 at the Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic of the Ankara Training and Research Hospital of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey. Throughout his academic career, he held various administrative positions. Prof. Dr. Teoman Dal

Teoman Dal graduated first in his class from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1989 and completed his ENT specialist training again at Hacettepe University in 1993. In addition to his clinical expertise, he also developed himself in the administrative field and obtained a master’s degree in Health Institutions Management from Başkent University in 1999. Selim Sermed Erbek graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1992 and completed his ENT specialist training in 1996. In his academic career, he received the title of Associate Professor in 2009 and Professor in 2016. An important point in his career is that, in addition to ENT specialization, he received a second specialist certificate in the field of “Oral and Jaw Surgery” in 2012. This dual specialization represents a level of competence requiring comprehensive surgical mastery over the anatomy and pathologies of the head and neck region.
