Prof. Dr. Sedat I\u015f\u0131kay is a physician with many years of academic and clinical experience in the field of pediatric neurology. Born in I\u011fd\u0131r in 1971, Prof. Dr. Sedat I\u015f\u0131kay completed his medical education at Ege University Faculty of Medicine between 1995 and 2001. He received his specialization training at the Department of Child Health and Diseases at Atat\u00fcrk University Faculty of Medicine and then completed his subspecialty training in pediatric neurology at Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine, becoming a pediatric neurology specialist.<\/p>\n
Undertaking important roles in his academic career, Prof. Dr. Sedat I\u015f\u0131kay served as the head of the division and faculty member at the Division of Pediatric Neurology at Kahramanmara\u015f S\u00fct\u00e7\u00fc \u0130mam University Faculty of Medicine. Receiving the title of associate professor in 2015, I\u015f\u0131kay currently continues his academic work as a lecturer at Gaziantep Hasan Kalyoncu University School of Health Sciences and simultaneously accepts patients at Gaziantep Medical Park Hospital.<\/p>\n
Prof. Dr. Sedat I\u015f\u0131kay, who has produced many national and international scientific publications in the field of pediatric neurology, conducts studies on epilepsy, metabolic and genetic neurological diseases, rare childhood neurological diseases, and neurological developmental disorders. A member of the Turkish National Pediatrics Association and the Turkish Pediatric Neurology Association, I\u015f\u0131kay carries out important work in the field of pediatric neurology through his scientific research and academic contributions.<\/p>\n
